Batterers Treatment Program (BTP)

Our 52-week Batterers Intervention Program is designed for individuals who have been court-ordered to participate, as well as those who choose to enroll voluntarily to address unhealthy or abusive behaviors. The program focuses on accountability, behavior awareness, and developing healthier communication and conflict-resolution skills. Participants learn to recognize harmful patterns, take responsibility for their actions, and build practical tools to create safer, more respectful relationships.

Intake

Enrollment Requirements

You must bring all of the following to your intake appointment in order to enroll:

Minute Order

Your minute order can be obtained from Sacramento County Probation or the Court. This document is required before enrollment can be completed.

Intake Fee

$35.00 — Cash, Money Order, or Debit/Credit Card (card payments may include a processing fee).

Valid Photo Identification

A current government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, etc.) is required at the time of enrollment.

Proof of Income (Sliding Scale Fees)

If employed, bring your two most recent pay stubs. If receiving SSI, SSA, Unemployment, or other income, bring your two most recent payment statements. 

Participants pay a weekly fee before the start of class each week. Weekly fees are based on household income using a sliding scale. If proof of income is not provided, the weekly fee will be $45 until documentation is submitted.

Class Times

Classes are available Monday through Friday.

We offer:

  • Men’s groups (English)

  • Women’s groups (English)

  • Men’s groups (Spanish)
